Inspired by European farmhouses, the 6-drawer Ciao Bella Chest reflects a simpler lifestyle. The exquisite black finish with multi-layer rub-through makes the chest look like it is been passed down through generations. A pull-out garment rod on either side of the case just above the top drawer provides a convenient space to hang frequently-used items or to lay out your clothes for early-morning departures. There is a drop-in felt liner in the top drawer, and the bottom drawer is cedar lined. Burnished brass hardware adds the finishing touch of style. Inspired by the small farmhouses that dot the French and Italian countryside and have been in the hands of the same family for generations, Hooker Furniture introduces the rustic Ciao Bella Collection. The whole home collection is an eclectic mix of European farmhouse pieces that have the appearance of furniture that has been refinished multiple times as it has passed through the generations. Ciao Bella includes bedroom, dining room, occasional, home office and accent furniture, and features a finish called Timeworn Gray that accentuates the historical nature of European farmhouses – many of which include a variety of furniture styles that have been added by each generation of owners.
